Found some old photos of my studio. Back in 1998 I was still experimenting with some different configurations and setups.
In the first picture are clearly visible:
A Roland TR-909 which I used extensively for years.
A Fostex D5 DAT that I still have in my studio as a DA converter.
A Roland SDE-1000 which is still in my studio as well, used from time to time to sparkle a little some sound.
Two Berhinger compressors and denoiser. Gone, luckily!
A TR-505, gone as well but I regret selling it as it was a really nice piece of gear and the tiny step sequencer fun to use.
An ESI-32 sampler that was outputting most of the kickdrums but didn't last much. After all the AKAI S900 was less packed with features but punched much more!
Everything was driven by OctaMED SoundStudio on Amiga computer.
Those pictures were taken while recording my very first EP on Zero Music Hard back in 1997 - 1996 perhaps...
Most notable pieces of gear were two Amigas, a Roland SH-09 and a Roland Space Echo. Everything was recorded on a portable Sony DAT Tape.
