VST Speek

Crunchy robotic lo-fi techno voices!

There is a plethora of SID emulation VST plug-ins out there all recreating the synthesis capabilities of the Commodore 64. I love all of them but I always felt the need of a different approach to sound making, something similar to the SAM reciter.

I’m really not new on this kind of stuff but since the time of the Amiga I used speech synthesis to design weird industrial sounds. Now VST Speek is finally giving the chance to set parameters with crazy values, write odd words like “HHksieeee” or “xowewewew” and get the mechanical kind of results I used to love!

This is not a vocal synth like “Vocaloïd”, it’s intended to do crunchy robotic lofi techno voices!
It’s not intended for good quality speech synthesis too, better speech synthesis softwares exist now.
